Within our organisation, practically all our senior management team started out as electrical apprentices.
We believe that the opportunity facing apprentice electricians has never been better.
In this short video, CJK founder Conor Kearney talks about where an electrical apprenticeship with CJK can take you.
Where can an apprenticeship with CJK take you?
Once you serve your time with CJK, you can take lots of different career paths.
Every apprentice has a different story.
Here are a few of ours.
There are so many places that an electrical apprenticeship can take you - become an electrician, start your own business, travel the world, stay in the company you start with or move industry. Your own path will only become apparent to you as it unfolds in front of you.
The one thing we find that is constant with those that serve their time with us is that they appreciate the opportunity and solid grounding that they are given through their time with us.
"I was the only girl in the class."
Meghan Seal became the only female in the class when she gave up music in school for engineering. She discovered she had a knack for it and hasn't looked back since, growing in confidence along the way.
"My best friends are those I served my time with."

Patrick Buckley went to college after school, really because it was expected of him and what his mates were doing. But he found that it wasn't for him. When he became an electrical apprentice, he realised this was where he should be.
"I knew there would be good opportunities for me in Sydney."
Mark McHugh used his electrical apprenticeship and time with CJK to move to Australia, where he carved out a lucrative career for himself. He intends coming back and starting up a new business in Ireland, but for now he's enjoying the lifestyle down under.
"I turned down 2 soccer scholarships for this - and I don't regret it."
